Most of this business is detail: the declaration that is right first time, the call made before a customer has to chase, the container booked before the allocation goes. We would rather hire someone careful and teach them freight than hire a CV.
We are interested in people across documentation and customs, operations and coordination, and sales. If you have experience in a customs house agency, a forwarder or a shipping line, say so. If you do not, tell us what you have done that required getting the details right under time pressure.

Preparing and checking declarations, working the schemes, chasing certificates. Precision matters more than speed here, and we would rather train it than fake it.
Coordination and follow-up
Bookings, carriers, transporters, and the calls that stop a small problem becoming an expensive one. Suited to people who chase things without being asked.
Client servicing
Understanding what a client actually needs, quoting it honestly, and staying on the file afterwards. No cold-call scripts.
